CPA (Cost Per Acquisition)

CPA or Cost Per Acquisition is an economic model, but it can also be used as a performance indicator or KPI. It refers to the price of a conversion made after the display of an advertising banner on a publisher’s website. Pricing can be on a commission basis (e.g. 45c for any registration for a free newsletter) or as a percentage of a sale (for example, 10% of any sale of a book).
